This one arrived years after the Trio. It has four channels so you can set up a clean lead too, and it the lead drive sound is created by a cascade of nine tubes.
The clean sound isn’t up to the Trio’s, but the lead channel has good detail and a lot of punch. It’s got a useful onboard graphic EQ, which I do use sparingly, and reverb, which I don’t. Also a good noise gate for hairier overdrive sounds.
How do I connect my Carvin Quad X to my ground control pro
Will it connect?
Apologies for my sloth, travelling. Should be simple, just a midi lead. You need to make sure the GC is transmitting and the Quad-X receiving on the same midi channel. It’s all in the manuals, online. Good luck.
