I missed out on one of these back in the day so I always kept my eyes peeled and then this one turned up. Not at a finically opportune time, but what the hell.

It plays like a dream, sounds fantastic – the rosewood on maple neck, the Arcane pickups and a wooden block under the bridge add warmth to the metal body’s resonance. It can jangle, but it’s rather darker than a regular Tele so it does great blues and rock too. And what a look – pure rock’n’roll.
This goes alongside my Steinberger GM4T, Brian Moore MC/1 (now sold) and Armstrong and Shaftesbury plexiglass models in the corner of the collection for ‘new materials’.
